  Clergy prefers blindly obedient followers who don't ask a lot of questions in regards to biblical lore. I attended one temple meeting out of curiosity, then decided not to go back. My mother was accosted the next day about when we would be deciding to join the church. Not amused. Hopefully the current clergy is more open-minded and respectful.
